Our story
It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. Almond Technology Xchange based in Austin, Texas, was founded by our founder Jon Almond after he had a vision of taking cost from legacy technologies via optimization and shifting those monies to the future tech he is so passionate about.
A true technologist since he was a child, Jon has childhood memories of taking the family phone apart and his mother asking him what he was doing. He responded that "he wanted to know how it worked" and 40 years later he is still inspired to understand and apply technology to make peoples lives better.
Almond Technology Xchange is often affectionately referred to by clients and staff as "ATX." Based in Austin Texas, ATX is a memorable brand for the fact it shares the cities abbreviation and the company colors are often as colorful as it's staff is.
Jon formed ATX to provide top-tier IT solutions and consulting but that's enough marketing for today, let's hear from "The Founder" himself.
